Custom Glass Work

Sincerely Yours Stained Glass Studio has been creating custom glass work since 1992. Custom glass work can be installed in new construction, or used to enhance your current home adding design and atmosphere. Art glass may be placed in front of existing glass or integrated throughout your home as wall hangings, or décor. Often art glass is often used in the entryway, but it is also very effective to add privacy and design to any windows, interior doors, bathrooms, transoms and cabinets.

Pricing

The cost of custom glass work is determined by square footage, complexity and the techniques required to achieve the desired project. We are always considerate of your budget. We will prepare an estimate for your project once we know the size, design, and process you would like to see in your window. The design process is $ 50.00 per hour, which is deducted from the end price of your project.

What is the Process for Ordering Custom Stained Glass?

The process for ordering a custom window starts with a visit to our studio. We will discuss what you have in mind and will be able to suggest ideas by viewing some design books and photos of stained glass windows. We will take notes and ask you questions about color, size, project location and budget to determine what will best suit your needs. 

Our methods of construction are:

• Foiled glass
• Leaded glass
• Glass mosaic
• Fused glass

Any of these elements which can be added to your piece. After our initial discussion, we then will prepare for you a color rendition of your custom glass project. Once the design is approved, the materials (colors, textures, bevels, etc.) are chosen, and a 50% deposit received, construction begins.
